People who participate in the activities provided at Joondalup Family Centre (the Centre) are asked to become members of the organisation. This membership provides vital support to the Centre so we can continue to provide services to the community.

Eligibility

The following are eligible members, provided that they are aged 18 years or over and not employed by the Centre:

  • any person who participates in any program or service in the Centre; or
  • a parent or guardian of a child attending any program at the Centre or whose child is enrolled to attend at the Centre, or
  • any other person, association, corporation or other body corporate who is interested in the well-being of families.

 

Types of Membership

We have 3 different membership categories available:

Ordinary members
Individuals using the Centre including families

participating in Playgroup and Pre-kindy programs
and party hire.

  • Priority placing in programs and services
  • Priority invitation to member events
  • 10% discount on party hire
  • Input into services at the Centre via surveys
  • Quarterly newsletter
  • Invitation and voting rights at our AGM
$10 per annum
Affiliated Members
Organisations using the Centre to run programs and services
  • Priority placing in programs and services
  • Priority access to venue hire
  • Priority invitation to member events
  • Input into services at the Centre via surveys
  • Quarterly newsletter
  • Listed on our website with link to yours
  • Advertising on the Centre Facebook page
  • Invitation and voting rights at our AGM
$15 per annum

Friend of the Centre
An organization or individual who wish to
become a 
member but do not attend the Centre regularly

  • Priority placing in programs and services
  • Priority invitation to member events
  • Quarterly newsletter
  • Invitation and voting rights at our AGM
$20 per annum


All members must support the Joondalup Family Centre philosophy and abide by the Rules of the Association and any by-laws of the Association as provided to members on joining and as updated from time to time.

How to become a member

  • Complete an application form and return to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
  • The Committee will review applications at the monthly Committee meeting. Your membership is not automatic and is at the sole discretion of the Committee. For example, a reason for rejecting a membership may be a future foreseeable conflict of interest.
  • If approved, you will be notified of acceptance and sent an invoice for payment.
  • If not accepted, you will be notified by email with the reason.
